amoré

Tabanan, Tabanan Regency, Bali, Indonesia 6 DAYS

your rainforest home

your home for six days is a private open-air balinese bungalow - bamboo, timber, soft light and rainforest in every direction. each bungalow has its own space on the property - with no walls between you and nature, just adjustable blinds that open to rice paddies, fireflies and stars in the nights sky. spacious, earthy, quietly luxurious. the kind of place you didn't know existed until you're standing in it, wondering why you ever stayed anywhere else. it's truly something you see in magazines.

traditional welcome ceremony

arrived. really arrived.

you're welcomed the balinese way - with intention, with warmth, with something that quietly signals: this place is different. a small ritual to mark the crossing from everyday life into something softer. the first note of amoré.

eat slowly, stay longer

the table is yours. take your time.

ingredients grown on the land, picked with intention, prepared slowly, arrived unhurried. food that asks nothing of you except to slow down and enjoy. somewhere between the first bite and the last, the day falls away. so does the distance. you remember, somewhere in the moment, why you chose each other for this.

hands that know

side by side, unhurried, in hands that read you without asking. you didn't come here knowing how much you needed this. but somewhere between the beginning and the end of it, you surrender. you surface quieter. softer. and for a moment, that is enough.

nowhere to be

slow walks through rice paddies, villages and food forests with someone who knows this land by heart. easy rhythm, crisp fresh air, nowhere to be. somewhere along the path, without noticing, you fall back into step with each other. it's the stillness in these moments that brings you both back

the art of slowing down

a slow, grounding morning with a local keeper of this craft. natural fibres, easy rhythm, gentle conversation. your hands find a rhythm. and quietly, without trying, so do you.

date night, done right

a table set just for you, in your own bungalow, above the water, under the stars. warm, unhurried, a little indulgent. somewhere between the first dish and the last laugh, you remember what a good date feels like. the kind of night you'd only ever dreamed of.

leave it here

a traditional balinese water blessing, held at a sacred waterfall with a local elder. cool mountain water, ancient ritual, and the chance to leave something behind. whatever you've been carrying - quietly, together, you can let it go here. couples leave this place lighter. some can't explain why. they don't need to.

the good stuff

sometimes all a relationship needs is a little space and the right question. each day, in the open air with jungle all around, jodi offers both. gentle, unhurried and surprisingly fun. you'll say things you've been meaning to say. you'll remember things you'd forgotten.

the best kind of mess

fresh balinese ingredients, gentle guidance, and the two of you in a kitchen that smells like somewhere worth being. you chop a little, taste a little, laugh a little. somewhere in the process the lightness returns. and if the dish turns out edible, that's a bonus.

no plans

slow, unhurried time to read, dip, siesta or simply be. no plans. no one needing anything from you. just the two of you, and all the time in the world for each other.

from arrival to departure

the airport pickup is arranged. your bungalow is waiting. and so is a basket of fresh local fruit - the first of many small gestures that say: you are taken care of here. little room touches throughout. and before you leave, your laundry returned clean and folded. because going home should feel as good as arriving.

same time next year

the last night belongs to all of you - new friends, warm fire, the kind of laughter that comes from having actually lived something together. and then, in the middle of it all, a moment that's just yours. words you'd forgotten how to say. a closeness you didn't know you'd missed this much. the fire dies down. you don't want to leave. same time next year.
